We believe that proper, healthy nutrition is very important to a child's development! As a result, we make sure to serve healthy meals made with ingredients like a mix of different colored vegetables, whole fruits, whole grain foods, and lean protein such as beans, chicken, legumes, and low-fat yogurt or cottage cheese. We avoid foods high in trans or saturated fats, low nutrient foods like chips, and high sugar foods like soda. On top of that, we plant and grow a lot of the vegetables and fruits that we eat including tomato, zucchini, radish, potato, lettuce, and orange. Certified organic!
But do the children love it as much as we do? Absolutely! Everyday our teachers are introducing the children to new flavors and they'll be the first to let you know that it's finger-lickin' good (the babies may use non-verbal communication). We also work with parents to only serve foods that the child should eat, whether it is due to allergies or other dietary restrictions. Let's eat!
